Details:
Cyril Chisholm (Service No 845) was born in Kiama, NSW in February 1897 and attended Bowral State School. He was a single 21 year old labourer who had served in the Junior Cadets.
He embarked on HMAT A40 Ceramic with C Company, 18th Battalion on 25th June 1915 and arrived on Gallipoli on 16th August 1915. While engaged in the fighting for Hill 60 he was killed by a Turkish bomb. He has no known grave and is remembered on the Lone Pine Memorial.
