Reginald Thomas (Service No 4327) was born in Bulli, N.S.W. around 1896.

When he enlisted he was a single 19 year old miner. Reginald had already spent 3 years in the Cadets and 1 year in the Militia.

He embarked on HMAT A17 Port Lincoln with 11th Reinforcements, 13th Battalion on 13th October 1915. 

Reginald arrived in Egypt on 17th January 1916.  He became sick and was admitted to hospital in Egypt on 1st February that year, but discharged back to his unit on 22nd February 1916.  On 1st March 1916 he was transferred to 4th Battalion.  While en-route to France he became ill again and was admitted to hospital ill on 8th June 1916.  Reginald died on 10th June from epilepsy, never having seen active service.

Raymond is buried in Juvisy-sur-Orge Communal Cemetery; Plot IV, Row 4, Grave 5.
