Albert Crook (Service No 58681) was born in Adamstown, N.S.W.

Albert enlisted when he was 21 years old; he was single, working as a coal miner, and living at Coledale, N.S.W.  Albert had served in 37th Infantry CMF.

Albert embarked from Sydney on 19th June 1918 from Sydney , on board SS Field Marshall/ Feldmarschall.

Albert arrived in England on 26th August 1918.  He was discharged from the AIF in London on 13th June 1919, and then went on to join the Royal Fusiliers for service with the Russian Relief Force.

In 1920 he married Margaret Ross.
