Harry Cox (Service No 7076) was born in Battersea, England around 1893.

At enlistment Harry was single, 23 years old, worked as a labourer, and lived at Helensburgh, N.S.W.   Harry listed Mrs Hanlon of Helensburgh as his next of kin.

He embarked from Sydney on HMAT A24 Benalla with 23rd Reinforcements, 1st Battalion, on 9th November 1916.

Upon arriving in England on 9th January 1917 Harry was posted to A Company.  Soon after he was diagnosed as having epilepsy.

Harry was returned to Australia in April 1919 and discharged medically unfit on 23rd October 1917.
