Albert Luck
Albert Luck (Service No 3328) was born in Helensburgh, NSW.
At the time of enlistment Albert was single, 25 years of age and employed as a labourer. Albert embarked on HMAT A16 - Port Melbourne with 33rd Battalion, 8th Reinforcements on 16 July 1917. He arrived in England on 16 September 1917 and joined 33rd Battalion in the field on 4 February 1918.
Albert saw service on the Western Front until 4 April 1918 when he was wounded in action.
Albert was evacuated to a hospital in England for treatment of a gun shot wound to his left thigh. Albert returned to his unit on 4 October 1918.
Albert returned to Australia in July 1919 and was discharged on 26 September 1919.
In 1920 he married Christina Miller.
Albert died in 1977 and is buried in Woronora Cemetery.
