John Graham (Service no 58213) was born in Wollongong, NSW.
At the time of enlistment, John was single, 21 years of age, employed as a clerk and had served with the Senior Cadets.
John enlisted in Queensland and embarked on HMAT A41 - Bakara with 6th Queensland Reinforcements on 4 September 1918. He arrived in England on 14 November 1918 and was posted immediately to 9th Battalion.
John was returned to Australia in January 1920 and discharged on 23 March 1920.
John married Kathleen Gamble in Wollongong, NSW in 1926 and together they had 2 children.
John worked as an accountant for Port Kembla Metal Manufacturers and died at home in 1947.
His brother George Graham (Service no 667) also served.
