Details: 

David Price (Service no 5436) was born in Swansea Wales in 1883.

At the time of enlistment, David was single, 32 years of age, employed as a miner and resided in Scarborough, NSW.

David embarked on HMAT A40 - Ceramic with 4th Battalion, 17th Reinforcements on 14 April 1916 and arrived in Egypt on 17 May 1916.

David was posted to England and then to France where he joined A coy 1st Pioneers on 23rd September 1916.

On 12 November 1916, David was admitted to hospital and sent to England.  After discharge from hospital he continued to serve in England until he was repatriated to Australia in November 1917.

David was medically discharged on 12 February 1918.
