Donald Alfred Walker
Donald Walker (Service no 240) was born in Sydney, NSW. In 1902, he married Myra Stevenson and together they had one daughter. They were residing in Thirroul, NSW when he enlisted. Donald was married, 34 years of age and employed as a locomotive driver.
Donald embarked on HMAT A18 - Wiltshire as a Sergeant with Section 1 on 7 February 1917. He arrived in England on 11 April 1917 and joined his Unit in France on 14 May 1917.
Donald saw service on the Western Front until he was admitted to hospital on 12 January 1918 as a result of severe facial neuralgia.
He was repatriated to Australia in June 1918 and medically discharged with a pension on 6 November 1918.
