Henry Stewart (Service No 7780), was 22 years old, single, worked as a carterand lived in Port Kembla, N.S.W., when he enlisted in Wollongong, N.S.W.
He embarked on HMAT A 8 Ulysses with the 2nd Battalion, 26th Reinforcements, on 19th December 1917.
Henry arrived in England on 13th February 1918 and served there until the war ended. He returned to Australia in July 1919, and was discharged on 1st October 1919.
Henry was still living in Port Kembla, N.S.W. in 1943.
