William Christiansen (Service No 6151) was born in Dapto, N.S.W.
He enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy served until 1922. On 23rd November 1923 he married Kathleen Horwood in Bulli, N.S.W. and the couple raised a family.
William enlisted in the Navy for service in World War II.
He died in 1967 and is buried in Bulli Cemetery. His service is commemorated on the Bulli-Woonona War Memorial.
William's brother Charles Walter Christiansen served with the Army and was killed in action.
