Margaret Robertson was born in Brynbo, Wales in October 1879. She arrived in Australia prior to 1913 and at the time of enlistment was a single, 38 year old, employed as a nurse and residing in Corrimal, NSW.
She embarked on HMAT A54 - Runic with 1915-1918 Nurses on 10 September 1917 and joined the 31st General Hospital at Port Said, Egypt on 3 December 1917 and served with various units in Egypt.
Margaret returned to Australia in May 1919 and was discharged on 28 September 1919.
In 1927, she married James McIntosh in Lismore, NSW.
Margaret died in 1980 at the age of 101 years.
